On-Ramp Example
Deposit USD by wire and receive USDC from the Portal.
A deposit of 1,000 USD by domestic wire, paid out as USDC on Polygon. Deposits are available for customers in the United States.
Select the Type
Click Create Transfer and choose Deposit (On-ramp).
Select the Customer
Choose the customer the transfer is for.
Choose the Path
The source is fixed: an individual in the United States, in USD. Choose the destination type and network. The asset is USDC. Here that's an individual on Polygon.
Enter the Amount
Enter the amount in USD. The range for the route is shown above the field.
Select a Quote
Each payment method has a quote with the fee and a countdown. A method shows a message when the amount is over its limit, and ACH Pull needs a linked bank account. Here the quote is for Domestic Wire.
Enter the Recipient Details
The fields depend on the route. For this deposit they include the transfer purpose, the wallet type and institution, the recipient's name, date of birth, ID number and address, and the blockchain address that receives the USDC. To fill them from a saved beneficiary, search under Auto-fill from saved beneficiary. Enter each field in the format the form shows.
Review and Submit
Check the details and click Submit Deposit.
Send the Funds
The Transfer Instructions show the bank details for the wire: the account and routing numbers, the bank name and address, and the account holder name. Add the Narrative to the wire, so the funds can be matched to the transfer. Copy All Information copies the details, and Save recipient as beneficiary keeps the recipient for next time.
